How To Apply


All applications for licensed positions with Bayfield School District 10 Jt-R must include the completed district application, a copy of the applicant's current Colorado teaching license, three letters of recommendation, and college or university transcripts. Please include home, work and cell phone numbers for your references, as well as an email address. Inability to contact references may delay the hiring process. Incomplete application packets will not be screened for posted vacancies.

Applications can be completed on-line through Applitrack. Once submitted, your application will be retained in active status for one school year. During this time, you may monitor our on-line application system for open positions and submit your name for consideration. If your qualifications meet our needs, we will contact you for further information and a possible interview. You will be notified by email when your application expires so that you can log in and re-activate it if you wish.

Applicants holding out-of-state licenses should contact the Colorado Department of Education to obtain an application for their Colorado licensure. Applications are available on the CDE website. The entire process, including payment, must be done online. Please follow the links on this page to start the process!

As a condition of employment, applicants who are hired by the district must have fingerprints on file with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. More information will be given at the time of hire.

Transportation Department employees are required to have a Colorado CDL with a 'P2S' endorsement. A CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) physical is required as part of the process to obtain the CDL instruction permit. Once the applicant has the instruction permit, the district will provide training and arrange final testing for the CDL.
