Maintenance Department

Welcome to the Maintenance Department

serving the Bayfield School District!

The department provides building custodial needs, grounds maintenance, and facility and plant maintenance. The expectation is to provide and maintain a safe and clean learning environment for the students, staff, and public.

Each school building has three full-time custodians. The district also has one full-time activities custodian providing needs for all scheduled events. Substitute custodians are available for coverage when needed.

The grounds department operates and has four full-time employees. They maintain all landscapes and hardscapes in the district, along with maintaining all equipment needed to keep the landscape manicured and hardscape clean and clear.

Facilities and central plant maintenance have two full-time employees to maintain all the district plumbing, mechanical, and electrical needs, including maintaining all custodial and district equipment, with the exception of computer technology equipment.
