Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities, the District is committed to providing equal access to programs, services, and employment opportunities. The ADA requires covered entities to provide reasonable accommodations to eligible individuals with disabilities, unless doing so would result in an undue hardship or fundamentally alter the nature of the program or position.
