Public Comment at BOE Meetings

While we appreciate and value hearing from our constituents, we also like to remind everyone our function as a board is to serve the district within the functions of policy, fiscal management, and supervision of our superintendent. We trust that before addressing the board with an issue, an intentional and concerted effort has been made toward resolution using the chain of command – in most cases that begins with the teacher/coach, the principal, the superintendent and then the board itself if necessary. It is in this way that we can best serve you. Thank you!

The Board shall set a time limit on the length of the public participation time to three minutes for each topic/speaker. A speaker must be present at the meeting in person. Sign-up for public comment here.
