“Our Bayfield Schools are lucky to have a very supportive community, a great group of students, and an excellent staff of teachers and administrators. Public education is experiencing rapid change and with this change, many challenges and opportunities. I appreciate the opportunity to represent the community and look forward to helping our district work through these challenges and making the most of the opportunities.”

Hello, I'm Mary Lynne Herr. I retired from Bayfield Elementary in 2015 after a 40 year career working as a classroom teacher and a teacher trainer in higher education, as well as serving in principal and other administrative positions.
I believe that our children, and the schools they attend, are among our most important resources. I care deeply about our community and am honored to serve on our School Board. My experience will help me make informed decisions as our district seeks to maximize and personalize student achievement while providing a safe and supportive school culture.
