Bayfield School Board meets Tuesday

The board will hear reports from the superintendent and board members, and receive updates on the district’s safety and transportation departments. They will also receive a progress report on the district’s BEST grant application and be asked to approve a number of personnel changes. The board will discuss a process and timeline for an anticipated BPS Principal search, a mid-year budget adjustment, board norms and proposed policies governing public conduct and procedure for addressing public complaints or concerns. The board intends to take action on proposed revisions to the Facility Use Handbook and on the adoption of a Calendar for the 2025-26 school year. They will also be asked to approve the mid-year budget update.

Anyone wishing to participate in the regularly scheduled public comment must be present at the meeting in person. Although it is not required, you may sign up for public comment ahead of time here.
