Educators in Bayfield received a big vote of confidence from their school board last Tuesday night when the group approved an $8,000 across-the-board increase in base pay for all certified staff members.

On Tuesday evening the Bayfield School District Board of Education approved hiring a key member of the district’s administrative team for the next year when they voted unanimously to name Sam Ryan as the next principal of Bayfield High School.

Administrators encourage all parents of children who will be turning 5 on or before September 1, 2024, to contact the school to register their student.
