BHS Construction Installs Solar Panel

Students of the Bayfield High School Carpentry class recently installed a solar panel on one of their class construction projects. Solar Works of Durango, provided expertise and guided the students through the installation process. This project was aimed at teaching students about solar energy and the technology associated with it. The solar panel was purchased through the Carl D. Perkins grant, and proceeds from the sale of the class's solar equipped building will help to fund class projects next year. For more info, call (970) 884-5553.
