**All applications for licensed positions with Bayfield School District 10 Jt-R must include the completed district application, a copy of the applicant's current Colorado teaching license, three letters of recommendation, and college or university transcripts. (PLEASE INCLUDE HOME, WORK AND CELL PHONE NUMBERS FOR YOUR REFERENCES. Inability to contact references may delay the hiring process.) Incomplete application packets will NOT be screened for posted vacancies.

All completed application packets will be kept on file for two years after which they will be destroyed. If you wish to keep your application active you must notify the Human Resources Department annually. Applicants holding out-of-state licenses should contact the Colorado Department of Education (www.cde.state.co.us) to obtain an application for their Colorado licensure. Applications are available under the Educator Licensing / Services tab. Payments for licensing applications must be made online. Classified applicants who are hired by the school district will be required to be fingerprinted as a condition of employment. There is no cost to the employee.

Applicants hired for positions in the Food Service Department will also be required to have a physical, which will be paid for by the district.

Transportation Department employees are required to have a Colorado CDL with a 'P2S' endorsement. A CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation) physical is required as part of the process to obtain the CDL instruction permit. Once the applicant has the instruction permit, the district will provide training and arrange final testing for the CDL.
